Hollie was such a fantastic surprise from “Reflection” to “Power of Love” but then she just kept choosing awful songs that shows she doesn’t know how to use what she has. Speaking of season 7 contestant comparisons, I would relate her to Carly Smithson who had a really strong start and then fell apart halfway through only to really shine on her final and unfortunate week. People keep comparing Hollie to Pia but I think they’ve go the wrong elminee. I really want her to claw her way out of that damn canyon she’s in right now like you say but it seems like it’s going to be very tough from the looks of it. Here’s to hoping!

Poor Hollie. So talented, yet so clueless. When she was being interviewed by Ryan she had sort of a Baylie Brown reaction like she was watching her dreams crumble apart. She needs to pull a Diana Degarmo now and claw her way out of the ghetto if she wants the title. At this point, there’s probably too many people yelling at her for her to make sense of it all.
